Sherman Housing Authority

Rents:

The rent is only 30% of a family's monthly adjusted income. Rent includes the monthly cost of shelter plus water, sewer, trash pick-up, and allowances for electricity and gas.

Applications:

Applications for housing are taken at the Housing Authority office Monday through Thursday 10 am. to 11:30 am. and 2 pm. to 3:30 pm. Applications will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis.

The Sherman Housing Authority shall not discriminate because of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, familial status, or disability in the leasing, rental, or other disposition of housing or related facilities, including land, that is a part of any project or projects under its jurisdiction, covered by a contract for annual contributions under the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, or in the use or occupancy thereof.
